Press OnNothing in the world can take the place of persistence; talent will not. Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent; genius will not. Unrewarded genius is almost a proverb; education alone will not. The world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination are omnipotent. |
Thomas J. Bruzzesi for President
AutobiographyI, Thomas James Bruzzesi, was born on May 4, 1964 to Joseph and Dorothy Bruzzesi, the youngest of 3 children with the oldest being Joseph and Tami Ann Bruzzesi. I resided in Fort Lee, New Jersey. My parents divorced when I was 2 years old. When I was 5, I had a terrible accident. I suffered a cerebral hematoma which almost cost me my life. After my operation to remove the hematoma, bandages were placed to tight around my scalp and further complications lead to gangrene on my scalp. A series of skin grafts from my thighs were performed to replace the damaged tissue and left tremendous scaring, which I still live with today. To complicate matters even more, a cerebral shunt was inserted on the right side of my brain to drain excess spinal fluid, which I still live with today. After the success of my medical procedures, my life continued. I attended school from grade kindergarten through senior year and in1983 I graduated from Fort Lee High School. In my sophomore year I took a very big interest in the United States Marine Corps. In my Junior year I signed up for the delayed entry program. Upon my physical to enter the armed services I was denied due to my cerebral shunt and my dreams were crushed. I was hoping that the armed forces would help with my college education so I could become an officer. If there was one thing I wanted to do with my life was to be a part of defending my country to protect the freedom and liberties that we fought so hard for over the last 200 years. After graduating from high school I took up an interest in the construction field with my father and uncle. After about 2 years of carpentry I took an interest in the electrician field and caught on very quickly. Simultaneously, I became very interested in real estate. In 1992, I decided to leave New Jersey for Southwest Florida where I still reside today. I received my salesman license and then my brokers license and became a real estate Investor to date. With no college education and only being a high school graduate I have learned how to navigate my way through life and being successful as a person to gain financial success. In January of 2009 I met my best friend, my life partner, my wife Gina A. Bruzzesi. We were married February 13th, 2010. On August 16, 2010 we gave birth to our beautiful son James Thomas Bruzzesi. On February 2, 2011 Gina and I legally separated and equally share time with our son. Even though with the unfortunate situation these 2 people have changed my life in ways I could have never imagined. I am thankful to my wife Gina for bringing the most wonderful little boy into my life.

Our Government TodayToday's government. I can list the issues and they can go on forever but what is the real problem????? I have a 3 letter word I want to share with everyone. EGO!!!!!!!!! This is the problem we have within our government today. All the issues within the country stem out into the rest of the world with one 3 letter word. Could you possibly imagine??? You don't have to. The problem starts right from the Presidency, down to the Senate, down to the House of Representatives, down to local Governments and keeps on seeping down right to the bottom. I call this trickle down politics. What happens when this 3 letter word or poison enters our world, the issues that we face today. We have Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Tea Party, labels such as Progressive, Conservative, Liberal, Moderate, etc.. This conversation has got to disappear. No matter what the label, it really doesn't matter. What matters is what you stand for. As a registered Republican I stand for everyone whether a Democrat, Tea Party, Independent, Conservative, Progressive, Moderate, Liberal, etc.. Since the formation of this government we had leaders with different perceptions of what should be and through those perceptions they took ideas from each perception and created this government and this great country we have today. This government needs to let go of the egos and it needs to start at the top with Barack Obama the #1 Ego. Let's take a look at the issues and what we can do to resolve them in our government today.

LeadershipOn 9/11/2001 here in SW Florida I watched on T.V. the horrific events unfold in the cowardly attacks on American soil. After the attacks and in the days following I watched a government and the people of this great nation from everywhere come together as one and lead this nation out of this terrible tragedy to a rich and thriving economy, a war against our enemies that they never knew what hit them in which today is proving to be a success. I have never been so proud of our government before in my 46 years of life. The government put all their differences aside to get this nation to be a great leader of the world. Every nation took notice of this and joined together with the United States of America. It was the greatest time in history I can remember. It took almost 4,000 lives that day to meet this accomplishment. Almost 10 years later this has almost disappeared. The government is well divided on every issue and the lessons learned from 9/11/2001 have been put aside for political survival. In order to be a successful leader, it is not only about the success of the individual, but about the success, joy and benefit of others. This is not about one man or woman and their legacy. As President, that individual should be able to empower the society that they are governing not using power to repress. In order to be a successful leader you have to help others be successful. Together you create a successful society with peace and harmony. As a leader you have to give more than you will ever receive. I believe in the freedom to be. That is why this country is so great and always will be because of its freedom to be, the freedom to be free. As the President of this great country I will reach higher than any other President in the history of this country to protect our freedom to be, to be free. In the upcoming paragraph's you will see exactly the lengths I will go for this great nation but first let's take a look at government today.
